REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR HERBICIDE APPLICATION Oconto County is currently soliciting written proposals for a contractor to treat +/- 50 acres in attached map(s) for herbicide treatment of 32 acres in NWSE, SWNE, SENE, Section 16, T27N, R20E, Town of Abrams (Site 1) AND 18 acres in SWSE, SESW,NESW, NWSE, Section 16 (Site 2). It is anticipated that an official contract and/or purchase order will be issued after department administrator approval of the recommended proposal(s). Bids may be submitted to perform herbicide treatment(s) on Site 1, Site 2 , OR BOTH. HOWEVER, Site 1 is the primary site and treatment is REQUIRED; Site 2 is considered optional pending available funding. Carefully review this Request for Bids as it provides specific technical information necessary to aid participating firms in formulating a thorough response. Should you elect to participate, all documentation should be completed and submitted in complete original form via mail, (UPS, Fed EX, U.S.P.S.) or dropped off in person at the Oconto County Forestry Department office, 4921 County NN, Oconto, WI 54153 by Monday, June 29, 2026 at 1:00pm CST. Late or incomplete responses will not be accepted and will not receive consideration for final award.
