REQUEST FOR BIDS MILLBURY PUBLIC SCHOOLS SOLAR PROJECT – JR./SR. HIGH SCHOOL & ELMWOOD STREET SCHOOL The Millbury Public Schools, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Bidders (Electricians as Prime) for the Millbury Public Schools Solar Project, project number 0186-2605 for the Millbury Memorial Jr/Sr High School and Elmwood Street School in Millbury, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Solar Design Associates and Habeeb & Associates Architects dated June 29, 2026. The Project consists of: Installation of ballasted roof photovoltaic systems with connection to existing electrical infrastructure at the Millbury Memorial Jr/Sr High School and Elmwood Street School. The work is estimated to cost $414,000.00. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work – Electrical or Energy Management Systems and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime Update Statement (Form CQ 3). General Bids will be received until August 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Millbury Public Schools Central Office (located behind the Jr/Sr High School) at 12 Martin Street, Millbury, MA 01527. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to Millbury Public Schools. The Bid Documents may be obtained by email request from Owner's Project Manager, Mia Ayers (mayers@tervacorp.com), beginning July 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM. The Pre-Bid Conference and site walk will be on July 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Millbury Memorial Jr/Sr High School (Media Center) at 12 Martin Street, Millbury, MA 01527 followed immediately by a site walk of Elmwood Street School at 40 Elmwood Street, Millbury, MA 01527.
