Tahoe Cedars Water System Replacement
Reconstruction Project
PROGRESSIVE DESIGN BUILD (PDB)
Project Description (GMP 1):
Scope for Phase 1 includes approximately 17,000 linear feet of water main replacement. Construction is anticipated to begin in mid-July 2026. The extent of this phase targets the replacement of aging mains and relocation of backyard water mains and services to front-yard meter locations to support the ULTIMATE abandonment of older infrastructure. The project is located in the town of tahoma, ca and is completely within El Dorado County.
Work Packages for the following scopes will be issued
via BuildingConnected on March 5th, 2026:
Tree Removal
Saw Cutting
Traffic Control
Trucking
Street Sweeping
Asphalt Milling
Waterline Hot Tapping
Pavement Markings
Hydroseeding / Soil Stabilizing
Wildlife Biologist
Arborist
All subcontractors at every tier will use a skilled and trained workforce (STW) to perform all work on the project that falls within an apprenticeable occupation in accordance with CA PCC 2600.
Subcontractors, suppliers, and haulers interested in receiving an invitation to these work packages must register using the QR code provided.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held virtually on
March 10th, 2026 at 11:00am PST

Bids for all Work Packages are due by April 7th, 2026 @ 2:00pm PST.
