REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS I-80 East Vista to USA Parkway Widening Project PROGRESSIVE DESIGN BUILD (PDB) The Project will provide improvements along approximately thirteen miles of Interstate 80 between Vista Boulevard and USA Parkway. The work generally includes adding travel lanes, improving safety conditions, upgrading interchanges, and installing new ITS elements throughout the corridor. The selected Electrical and ITS subcontractor will participate in preconstruction activities, including constructability reviews, design development input, utility coordination support, quantity and cost development, risk identification, and pricing discussions directly related to the Electrical and ITS scope of the Project. The Project scope includes the installation and integration of systems such as fiber optic infrastructure, conduit and pull boxes, dynamic message signs, variable speed limit systems, wrong-way driver detection, lighting systems, and related electrical components, including but not limited to new power services, upgraded power services, and electrical infrastructure.
