
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) LEAD Remediation and Abatement Program (LRAP) Contractors
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be accepted by CAMDEN COUNTY COUNCIL ON ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY, INC. hereafter referred to as - CAMDEN COUNTY O.E.O., Inc. (CCCOEO) is seeking responses from qualified Contractors to become part of our "Qualified Contractor's Pool" to provide either lead remediation/mitigation and/or lead abatement services for the 2026 Lead Remediation Abatement Program - a 1 year grant funded program from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA). {Note: Only contractors on the NJ Certified Lead Abatement Contractor list can perform abatements}. Units will be located throughout Camden and Burlington Counties to consist of Single Family, Row Homes, Semi-detached and possibly Manufactured Homes.
All bids submitted must be in accordance to the manner specified via Camden County O.E.O.'s detailed instructions. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the projects corresponding name LEAD Remediation and Abatement Program (LRAP) with the bidding companies name and address. All requested documentation for this project per the instruction must be in receipt of Camden County O.E.O. at the time of the bid opening or the bid will be disqualified.
Specifications, instructions, supporting documentation, etc. for the proposed LEAD Remediation and Abatement Program (LRAP) prepared by Camden County O.E.O. will be filed in the Lead Department located at: THE POINT, 5287 RT 70, SUITE A, Pennsauken, New Jersey 08109. A pre-qualification application bids packet will be available for pick up from Thursday, January 8, 2026, through Tuesday, January 20, 2026, during business hours (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Bids will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Bids will be opened on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 11:00 am. Contractors or a representative MUST be present during Bid opening on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
CCCOEO reserves the right to reject any and all applications at the discretion of CCCOEO. Any contractor who has been suspended from any federal, state or local lead program is not eligible to perform under this RFQ.
Minority Business Enterprise, MBE contractors are encouraged to bid. Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of NJSA 10:2-1 through 10:2-4 and New Jersey Public Law 1975 c127 dealing with discrimination in employment on public contracts.
