Rehabilitation Bid Notice

Rehabilitation Bid Notice Bids are being accepted for the rehabilitation of a 10-unit motel, Firebase Eleanora, located at 731 Pulaski Highway, Bear, DE 19701. This is a HUD HOME funded project. This distressed property will be completely modernized into high-quality, affordable, long-term housing for disabled or elderly veterans. Modernization will include new kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, flooring, painting, appliances, plumbing, electrical, roofing, fencing, and landscaping. We are seeking contractors who are certified as minority, women, or veteran owned. Discrimination on any basis will not be acceptable. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 1, 2026, at 10:00 am, at the property address. Bids will be due no later than June 8, 2026, at 4:00pm, at the property address.
