Rental Bid for "Old Village Hall" in Hiram Village
The Village of Hiram (the "Village") is soliciting bids for the lease of its real property and improvements known as "Old Village Hall," fronting on Garfield Road (S.R. 82 and 700) (the "Premises"). The Village will award a lease contract (the "Lease") to the highest bidder, provided the proposed use of the Premises is compatible with existing Village zoning ordinances.
The successful bidder must: (1) confirm agreement with the terms and conditions set forth in a specimen Lease, available for inspection at Village Hall, on the Village website, or upon request made to the Village Administrator; (2) provide a detailed narrative description of the proposed use of the Premises; (3) identify the party or parties that are proposed to be the tenant under the Lease, identify any proposed signatories of the Lease, and verify that any such party or parties and/or signatories are authorized to enter into the Lease at the rate proposed in the bid; (4) submit the aggregate amount of Rent that Tenant shall pay over a five-year term, broken down by amount per year and amount per month (e.g., Month 1-12 $9,600 per annum at $800/month; Months 13-24 $10,200/per annum at $850/month; Months 25-60 $10,800/per annum at $900/month.
Bids shall be submitted at Village Hall, 11617 Garfield Road, Hiram, OH, c/o Village Administrator, and must be received by the Village no later than October 31, 2025 at 12:00 PM. A bid opening shall take place at Village Hall at Noon on October 31, 2025.
