Request for Proposals (RFP) – Lease of Town-Owned Building
The Town of Rutland is soliciting sealed proposals for the lease, rehabilitation, and use of the Town-owned building located at 232 Main Street, Rutland, MA (Assessor's Parcel ID 042-C-14), also known as the Franklin T. Wood House.
This RFP is issued under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B, §16, governing the disposition of municipal real property.
The property consists of an approximately 2,630 sq. ft. historic building located in the Town Center District 1. The Town seeks proposals from qualified entities, with preference given to nonprofit organizations whose mission and proposed use will enhance community value, support cultural and historic preservation, and contribute to a vibrant town center.

The lease will be awarded to the proposer determined to be the most advantageous to the Town, considering comparative evaluation criteria and price, as outlined in the RFP.
