Request for Qualifications
Leicester High School Project
The Town of Leicester, the Awarding Authority, requests that qualified and experienced DCAMM Certified Construction Managers submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), no later than 2:00PM local time on May 19, 2026, for the Leicester High School Renovation Project in Leicester, Massachusetts.
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL c.149A. The Town of Leicester, through its School Building Committee (SBC), is prequalifying firms interested in providing public construction services for the Leicester High School through this RFQ process. The required SOQ is different from DCAMM Certification. Based on information provided in the SOQs submission, the SBC will prequalify respondents it deems to be qualified in accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFQ.
The Architect is currently in the feasibility phase to further study the potential options for an adaptive reuse project at the former Becker College, focusing on four buildings and associated campus upgrades. Renovation scope will range from interior modifications to full reconfiguration of designated spaces, and may include new additions to the existing buildings. The project is on an occupied campus.
The work is estimated to cost $40,000,000.
The SOQ must conform to the requirements set forth in the RFQ. The RFQ may be downloaded from the following DropBox link (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/pug3fbbnptl8ccxclplcn/AML5ZI1YT7hn5wxkXx9bNPs?rlkey=j3dxiiq2of4e64zzvdq7rdil7&st=62x2ltsl&dl=0) on or after 12:00PM local time on April 29, 2026.
