Roland-Story CSD Public Hearing Re: 2026 Elementary Roof Project NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education will hold a public hearing for the proposed improvements for the 2026 Elementary School Roof Replacement Project as described below, on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 5:15 p.m. in the Board Room located at Roland-Story High School, 1009 Story Street, Story City, Iowa. At that time, any interested person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications and form of contract and cost of the improvements. The project consists of removal of the existing ballasted roofing system, insulation, and associated components within the designated roof areas of the Elementary School, as indicated on the Contract Drawings. The work includes installation of a new EPDM Type A roofing system with new insulation and accessories, replacement of existing perimeter fascia and flashings, and all related work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The roof area designated as the Gymnasium Roof shall receive a fully adhered EPDM insulation system, while the area designated as the Main Level Roof shall receive a mechanically fastened EPDM insulation system.
