TO: THE UNKNOWN HEIRS OF CAROL S. MCLEAN, IF ANY
You have been made a Respondent to the Petition for Determination of Heirship of Carol S. McLean, Deceased filed in this Court by Charles E. McLean, Petitioner, seeking to determine the heirs of Carol S. McLean, deceased.
You are summoned to appear and defend against the complaint or petition filed against you in this action at 8:30 o'clock a.m. on the 31st day of October, 2025, in the courtroom of the Madison County Chancery Court at 146 West Center Street, Canton, Mississippi, and show cause, if any you can, why the relief sought in said Petition should not be granted, and in case of your failure to appear and defend, a judgment by default will be entered against you for the money or other things demanded in the complaint or petition.
You are not required to file an answer or other pleading, but you may do so if you desire. Any written response to said pleading must be filed with the Clerk of the Court and a copy thereof mailed or hand delivered to Daniel S. Spivey, attorney for the Petitioner, whose address is 3260 South Liberty Street, P. O. Box 8, Canton, MS 39046.
