SE Trunk Sewer Connection Fee District Public Hearing Notice NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE SE TRUNK SEWER CONNECTION FEE DISTRICT AND CONNECTION FEES THEREIN The City Council of the City of Bondurant, Iowa will hold a public hearing on the proposed ordinance at 6:00 P.M. on the 6th day of April, 2026 in the Bondurant City Center at 200 2nd Street NE, Bondurant, Iowa. The SE Trunk Sewer Connection Fee District 10th Street SW Water Connection Fee District consists of an area consists of area located in Sections 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, Township 79 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Polk County, Iowa described as follows: Beginning at the Point of Intersection of the north right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 80 and the west line of the northeast quarter of Section 7, Township 79 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, thence north along the west line of the northeast quarter of said Section 7 to the North Quarter corner of said Section 7, thence north along the west line of the southeast quarter of Section 6, Township 79 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian to the northwest corner of the south ½ of the southeast quarter of said Section 6, thence east along the north line of the south ½ of the southeast quarter of said Section 6 to the southwest corner of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 6, thence north along the west line of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 6 to the northwest corner of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 6, thence east along the north line of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 6 to the East Quarter corner of said Section 6, thence north along the west line of the northwest quarter of Section 5, Township 79 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian to the Northwest Corner of said Section 5, thence east along the north line of said Section 5 to the Northeast Corner of said Section 5, thence east along the north line of Section 4, Township 79 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian to the Northeast Corner of said Section 4, thence south along the east line of said Section 4 to the point of intersection with the north right-of-way- line of Interstate Highway 80, thence southwesterly along the north right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 80 to the Point of Beginning. The sanitary sewer facilities within the SE Trunk Sewer Connection Fee District consists of a sanitary sewer improvements to be constructed by the City of Bondurant. The connection fee for the property owners within the benefitted district that connect to the proposed facilities will be $2,900 per acre for the period through June 30, 2026. The fees shall increase each July 1 as prescribed in the ordinance establishing the SE Trunk Sewer Connection Fee District.
