SECTION 00030 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Lenoir City Utilities Board will receive sealed bids for construction of the Loudon County High School 16-inch Jack and Bore Project until Thursday, July 16, 2026. Bids must be delivered to Lenoir City Utilities Board at 7698 Creekwood Park Boulevard, Lenoir City, TN 37772, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 am EST. Late bids will not be accepted nor returned. The project will generally consist of the following: Installation of approximately 44 linear feet of 16-inch steel casing using the jack and bore method. Bidding Documents may be obtained by prospective bidders beginning June 26, 2026, from the office of Jack Southard Company, LLC, 1516 Scenic Drive, Maryville, TN 37803 (jsouthard@jsc-llc.com). The cost is $25 per set with checks made out to Jack Southard Company, LLC and the cost is non-refundable. Once a copy of the check is received, a PDF file of the Bidding Documents will be emailed to prospective bidders. No printed copies of drawings or other documents will be available. Bidders that are not listed with Jack Southard Company, LLC via the required bidding document procurement process outlined in the Advertisement for Bids will not be qualified to submit a bid for this project. Bids submitted that were not procured through Jack Southard Company, LLC will not be opened or considered. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. All Bidders must be licensed contractors with "MU" classification in the State of Tennessee as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 and related amendments thereto, with all bid submittals conforming with the State of Tennessee requirements.
