Please take notice that an application for a use variance has been made before the Shrewsbury Borough Land Use Board. The application concerns the property at 791 Shrewsbury Avenue, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702, designated on the Shrewsbury tax map as Block 29 and Lot 12. The application seeks permission to establish and maintain a used car dealership on and at the premises. It seeks permission to maintain on premises at least two (2) vehicles at any given time for such purpose. It also requests that the Borough issue an approved Municipal Approval Certificate for Business License for that can be submitted to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission for that purpose. The Application seeks a variance from Borough Code Sections 94-10.3.A and 94-10.3.B(3). A public hearing on this application has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building, located at 419 Sycamore Avenue, Shrewsbury, New Jersey.
