NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
&
ZONING HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Shrewsbury Township Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on June 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to hear Applications #2026-01 and #2026-02, and the Shrewsbury Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on June 29, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to hear Applications #2026-01, #2026-02, and #2026-03. The meeting and hearing will be held at the Shrewsbury Township Municipal Complex, 12341 Susquehanna Trail South, Glen Rock, PA 17327. The above stated applications are as follows:
Application #2026-01, Bon Air Country Club (owner), Eric B. LeCompte (applicant) is requesting a Variance to Zoning Ordinance Sections 27-404.1 and 27-404.3 to allow relief to the maximum lot area requirement and transfer of development rights in the Agricultural District. The property is located at Club House Rd., Glen Rock, PA 17327, and identified as Tax Map BI Parcel 163.
Application #2026-02, RM New Freedom LLC. (owner), Bradley Streett (applicant) is requesting a Variance to Zoning Ordinance Sections 27-202, 27-904, 27-1702 and 27-1401 to allow temporary living quarters from a travel trailer and temporary occupancy (storage only) of pole building while constructing a new home and pole building. The property is located at 905 Kirchner Rd., New Freedom, PA 17349, and identified as Tax Map BI Parcel 18B.
Application #2026-03, USICV 1-83 Commerce Center, LLC c/o Hillwood Investment Properties is challenging the validity of the Shrewsbury Township Zoning Ordinance's fee provisions, as provided for in Sections 27-1812 and 27-1915 of the Zoning Ordinance, and the Township's Fee Schedule, as provided for in Resolution 2026-05. The property is located at 15910 Elm Drive, New Freedom, PA 17349, and identified as Tax Map BJ Parcel 56.
Interested members of the public may appear at the public meeting and/or the zoning hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard. As the outcome of these applications is dependent upon the application of legal principles, all parties should consider consulting an attorney.
