NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the original Complaint in the above entitled action was filed in the office of the Clerk of Court for Greenville County on December 18, 2025. LIS PENDENS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an action has been commenced by the Plaintiff above named against the Defendant(s) above named for the foreclosure of a certain mortgage given by Calvin L. Pepper and Henrietta M. Pepper to The CIT Group/Consumer Finance, Inc., dated April 20, 2005, recorded April 29, 2005, in the Office of the Clerk of Court/Register of Deeds for Greenville County, in Book 4352 at Page 111. The Mortgage was modified by a Loan Modification Agreement effective February 1, 2015 and a second Loan Modification Agreement effective September 1, 2017. The description of the premises is as follows: All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land together with all buildings and improvements thereon, situate, lying and being on the eastern side of East Dorchester Boulevard, in Greenville County, South Carolina, being shown and designated as Lot No. 25 on a plat of Section 1 and 2 of Belle Meade, made by Piedmont Engineering Service, dated June of 1954, recorded in Plat Book EE, Pages 116 and 117 and having the boundaries and measurements as will be more fully shown on said plat of record, all measurements being a little more or less. This being the same property conveyed to Calvin L. Pepper by deed of Hoyt E. Bagwell and Carolyn G. Bagwell dated November 13, 1976 and recorded November 15, 1976 in Book 1046 at Page 145 in the Office of the Clerk of Court/Register of Deeds for Greenville County. Thereafter, Calvin L. Pepper conveyed a one-half (1/2) in the subject property to Henrietta M. Pepper by deed dated June 17, 1998 and recorded June 24, 1998 in Book 1770 at Page 831 in the Office of the Clerk of Court/Register of Deeds for Greenville County. Upon information and belief, Calvin L. Pepper a/k/a Calvin Lee Pepper died on August 9, 2019, and no probate case has been opened in the Probate Court records for Greenville County. If any party has any information as to the existence and/or opening of a probate court file of the Estate of Calvin L. Pepper a/k/a Calvin Lee Pepper, it is requested that you contact counsel for Plaintiff immediately with that information. Upon information and belief, Calvin L. Pepper a/k/a Calvin Lee Pepper was survived by his heirs, namely Henrietta Pepper a/k/a Henrietta M. Pepper f/k/a Henrietta McBee a/k/a Henrietta McBee Pepper; Sherietta Motte; Edie Pepper a/k/a Edie Calvilla Pepper a/k/a Ebie Pepper a/k/a Edie C. Pepper; and Sherill Robinson (based upon his published obituary). Upon information and belief, Henrietta Pepper a/k/a Henrietta M. Pepper f/k/a Henrietta McBee a/k/a Henrietta McBee Pepper died on or about December 17, 2024, and no probate case has been opened in the Probate Court records for Greenville County.
