STATEMENT OF
QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ)
The Town of West seeks Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified professional engineering consulting firms detailing the firm's qualification, project related experience, management and staffing capailities, and references for state and federally funded projects. The selection of a firm to provide engineering design services will result in the development of a contract based on the requirements stipulated by the project scope and funding agency. Professional services may include, but are not limited to: cost estimates, scope of work development, project milestone meetings, surveys and site certificates, soil investigations, permitting, preliminary and final engineering plans and specifications, bidding/negotiating, recommendation to award and notice to proceed, project supervision, pay requests, construction review, "as-built" drawings, and maintaining project files for seven years. Procurement of said services will be in accordance with Federal Procurement Standards. The Town of West Blocton will afford full opportunity to women-owned and minority business enterprises who submit a show of interest in response to this request and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap or national origin in the award of this contract.
