Public Notice Santa Rita Connection Project Tucson Electric Power (TEP) is preparing plans for new transmission facilities that will increase energy capacity and enhance system reliability to customers in Sahuarita, Green Valley, and the surrounding area. TEP's Santa Rita Connection Project will interconnect TEP's existing 138 kilovolt (kV) transmission system to the proposed Santa Rita Substation, located east of Interstate 19, between Sahuarita and Green Valley. This upgrade will strengthen the reliability of service to customers, support regional development, and provide greater capacity to support growing energy needs in the area.
