Sarasota County Notice of Public Hearing Draft 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan – 30-Day Public Comment Period and Public Hearing Notice Sarasota County is preparing the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan, which will identify strategies to support low- and moderate-income residents through housing, homelessness prevention, public service and community development. A draft copy of the proposed Plan will be available during the Public Comment Period at www.herosrq.net/consolidated-plan. Additionally, two meetings will be held to receive public input on the proposed use of federal funds and Plan. These meetings will be held on: Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. - Frances T. Hard copies may be available upon request by contacting the Office. Sarasota County's 30-day Public Comment Period begins May 4, 2026, and ends on June 2, 2026. All comments regarding Sarasota County's Plan for federally funded projects are due no later than 5:00PM on June 2, 2026.
