Sarasota County Public Notice 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan - Community Input Requested Sarasota County is currently in the process of preparing the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan, which will identify strategies to support low- and moderate-income residents through housing, homelessness prevention, public service and community development. Funding is expected to be provided through the Community Development Block Grant Program, the Emergency Solutions Grant Program, and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program. Two meetings will be held to receive public input on housing and community development needs within the County that will be considered for inclusion in the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan. These meetings will be held on: Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. - Frances T. Bourne Jacaranda Library at 4143 Woodmere Park Blvd., Venice, FL 34293 Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. - Betty J. Johnson Library at 2801 Newton Blvd., Sarasota, FL. 34234 All County residents are encouraged to attend one of these meetings.
