INVITATION FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that Silverdale Water District (SWD) will receive sealed proposals for the Ridgetop & Waaga Way Water Main Extension project on June 26, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., at the SWD Office, 5300 NW Newberry Hill Road, Silverdale, Washington 98383, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required to construct two water main extensions listed as Schedule A – Potable Water Main: approximately 575 linear feet of 12-inch diameter water main and other appurtenances within a Public road; and Schedule B – Recycled Water Main: approximately 580 linear feet of 12-inch diameter water main and other appurtenances within a Public road as shown in the appendices all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. Work within the WSDOT Limited Access Area shall be nightwork.
The Engineer's Estimate for this project is between $850,000 and $950,000.
The project is located in Silverdale, WA as described for each of the Schedules listed below.
Schedule A – Potable Water Main starts west of the Limited Access area of Ridgetop Boulevard & Waaga Way (SR303), extends along Ridgetop Boulevard, and terminates east of the Limited Access area along Ridgetop Boulevard . The project lies within the SW 1/4 of Section 15, Township 25, Range 1E, W.M., Kitsap County, WA.
Schedule B – Recycled Water Main starts west of the Limited Access area of Ridgetop Boulevard & Waaga Way (SR303), extends along Ridgetop Boulevard, and terminates east of the Limited Access area along Ridgetop Boulevard . The project lies within the SW 1/4 of Section 15, Township 25, Range 1E, W.M., Kitsap County, WA.

Bids shall be made out on the Proposal form furnished with the specifications. Each proposal or bid shall be completely sealed in a separate envelope, addressed to SWD Attention Michael Pleasants, PE, General Manager, with the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project plainly indicated on the outside of the envelope. Electronic bids will not be accepted.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the order of the Silverdale Water District by the successful bidder, in case they fail to enter into a contract, file an acceptable surety bond in the sum of 100% of the contract price, or fulfill conditions of said contract within ten days of the date of the award.
The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. SWD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding.
