Sprankles Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Retired airline captain Jack Sprankle and wife Victoria (Hastler) Sprankle, originally of Massillon and currently of Dayton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 24th. Four years after becoming high school sweethearts from a chance encounter at Kraus' Pizza, the couple wed at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Massillon in 1976. Amid flying around the country and maintaining a homestead, Jack and Victoria raised two children, Heather (wife of Jason Hartshorn), currently of Brookville, Ohio, and Eric (husband of Katie Bloomquist), currently of Minneapolis. Heather and Jason have two children of their own, Landon and Rayna. Jack and Victoria have been celebrating their golden anniversary throughout the summer by spending quality time with their grandkids, meticulously tending their gardens, and reminiscing during road trips back to Massillon for pizza.
