TOWN OF LAKE PARK
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ADOPTION OF AMENDMENTS TO THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Lake Park, in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 163, Part II, Florida Statutes and other authority, intends to consider the adoption on second reading of the following ordinance to amend the text of its adopted Comprehensive Plan.
ORDINANCE 02-2026
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF LAKE PARK, FLORIDA, AMENDING ITS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE TEXT OF THE SANITARY SEWER, SOLID WASTE, DRAINAGE, POTABLE WATER, AND NATURAL GROUNDWATER ELEMENT; CONSERVATION ELEMENT; INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATION ELEMENT; AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ELEMENT, AND ADOPTING INTO THE PLAN THE UPDATE TO THE TOWN'S 10-YEAR WATER SUPPLY AND FACILITIES WORK PLAN; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE AMENDMENTS BY THE TOWN COMMISSION; PROVIDING THE REPEAL OF LAWS IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Proposed amendments include:
Adoption of the Town of Lake Park 10-year Water Supply and Facilities Work Plan (WSFWP) Update by reference in the Sanitary Sewer, Solid Waste, Drainage, Potable Water, and Natural Groundwater Element; Conservation Element of the Comprehensive Plan.Amendments to certain objectives and policies of the Comprehensive Plan elements to reflect new dates associated with the WSFWP update, and recent actions as recommended in the WSFWP update.

Wednesday April 15, 2026 at 6:30 pm or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Town Commission Chambers, located in Town Hall, 535 Park Ave., Lake Park, FL 33403

If any person objects to any adopted Comprehensive Plan Amendment they may file a Petition with the Department of Administrative Hearings pursuant to section 163.3184, Florida Statutes.
