TOWN OF PITTSFIELD - BROWN COUNTY, WISCONSIN 2026 ROAD PROJECT LIST AND SPECIFICATIONS Cold Mix Paver Patching and Hot Oil Chip Seal Coating NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Pittsfield, Brown County, Wisconsin will accept quotes for the Cold Mix Wedging and Hot Oil Chip Sealing on the following Town roads: Seal Coat with Spot Patching 1. Hawthorn Road (Kunesh North to Highway 32) Cold mix asphalt wedging. Approximately 400 tons of cold mix asphalt. Single hot oil seal coat 7,650 feet x 18 feet. 2026 Specifications for Cold Mix Paver Patching and Hot Oil Chip Seal Coating Cold Mix asphalt will be produced using a SC-800 asphalt and a crushed stone and washed sand aggregate mixture with a top size not exceeding 1/2". The seal coating will be done with a 340-degree 5% cutback ac blend asphalt and fractured washed chip. Both asphalt and aggregate will be applied full width in one pass. The finished seal coat will be rolled with a duo-packer roller. All prices will include sweeping and/or vacuuming of excess aggregate in residential yard areas. Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience in hot oil seal coating. Please list three municipalities that you have successfully completed sealing projects for in the last three years. Payment and Performance Bonds may also be required. These and all other specifications from the Town of Pittsfield must be adhered to. The Town of Pittsfield has the right to reject all or some of the above project portions. The above experience form must be filled out and given to the Town at least three days prior to the bid due date to be eligible to bid on the hot oil seal coating projects.
