TOWN OF UPTON REQUEST FOR BIDS RESTORATION OF FIRST CEMETERY HEADSTONES AND FOOTSTONES The Town of Upton, in conjunction with the Upton Historical Commission, is requesting bids from interested parties to provide restoration services for the headstones and footstones at the First Cemetery. Sealed General Contract bids will be received at Upton Town Hall, 1 Main Street, Upton, MA 01568, until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: replacement of the twenty-four (24) stones pictured in the bid documents meeting all quality and replacement requirements outlined therein. Most stones contain motifs which need to be replicated as similar to the original as is reasonably possible. The work must be completed by November 1, 2027.
