NOTICE OF HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
That the undersigned has applied to the Zoning Board of Adjustment in the Township of Belleville for a certification of the pre-existing non-conforming use of the subject property as a two-family dwelling at property known as 39 Overlook Avenue and otherwise known as Block 8201, Lot 12 on the Tax Maps of the Township of Belleville. The subject property is located in a R-B Zone and the two-family use proposed is a permitted use in the zone. Should the application be approved the use of the property would be legally converted from a one-family dwelling to a two-family dwelling. In addition to certification of the pre-existing non-conforming use as a two-family dwelling the applicant is further requesting any and all other variances or waivers that the board deems necessary for approval of this application. This application is listed on the Clerk's calendar, and a public hearing has been set for Thursday July 2, 2026 at 6:00 pm at Belleville Town Hall, 152 Washington Avenue, Belleville, New Jersey, second floor (Court Room), at which time you may appear either in person, by agent, or by attorney, and present any comments, questions, or objections which you may have to the granting of this application. Copies of all documents related to this application are available for public inspection at least 10 days before the hearing in the Office of Planning and Development, 152 Washington Avenue, Belleville, New Jersey during normal business hours.
