TOWNSHIP OF BORDENTOWN NOTICE AND CERTIFICATION OF PENDING ORDINANCES AND SUMMARIES The ordinances, the summary terms of which are included herein, were introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Bordentown, in the County of Burlington, State of New Jersey, on February 9, 2026. These ordinances will be further considered for final passage, after public hearings, at a meeting of the Township Committee to be held on Monday, February 23, 2026. The meeting will be held in the Meeting Room/Courtroom at the Municipal Building located at 1 Municipal Drive. The summaries of the ordinances are as follow: Title: ORDINANCE 2026-04 – AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XI OF SECTION 500 OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BORDENTOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ADDRESS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACT (FHA) AND THE UNIFORM HOUSING AFFORDABILITY CONTROLS (UHAC) REGARDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE TOWNSHIP'S AFFORDABLE HOUSING OBLIGATIONS Purpose: Ordinance 2026-04 addresses the requirements and new language of the Fair Housing ACT (FHA) and the Uniform Housing and Affordability Controls (UHAC).
