TOWNSHIP OF BRICK NOTICE OF ALTERNATE PROCUREMENT METHOD Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3), notice is hereby given that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 1, Township of Brick, County of Ocean, intends to utilize a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the Sourcewell cooperative for the procurement of fire apparatus (Spartan ER Star Series Pumper on a Metro-Star Chassis) and necessary equipment to make the emergency response vehicle functional. The Board is permitted, pursuant to the above mentioned statutory authority, to utilize a national cooperative as an alternate procurement method. The Board shall discuss and act upon the use of the alternate procurement method at a special meeting on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the District Office, 253 Brick Boulevard, Brick, New Jersey. The public shall be afforded an opportunity to participate prior to any action being taken. The Board shall also receive written comments from the public through noon on March 18, 2026.
