TOWNSHIP OF BRICK NOTICE OF ALTERNATE PROCUREMENT METHOD Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3), notice is hereby given that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Brick, County of Ocean, intends to utilize a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the Houston-Galveston Area Council cooperative for the procurement of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) equipment. The Board is permitted, pursuant to the above mentioned statutory authority, to utilize a national cooperative as an alternate procurement method. The Board shall discuss and act upon the use of the alternate procurement method at its regular monthly meeting on July 13, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Herbertsville Fire House, 601 Herbertsville Road, Brick, New Jersey. The public shall be afforded an opportunity to participate prior to any action being taken. The Board shall also receive written comments from the public through noon on July 13, 2026. All written comments shall be forwarded to: Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire District No. 3, Township of Brick, P.O. Box 1625, Brick, New Jersey 08723.
