TOWNSHIP OF BRICK NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT UNDER AN ALTERNATE PROCUREMENT METHOD Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3), notice is hereby given that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Brick, County of Ocean, intends to award a contract through participation in the Houston-Galveston Area Council cooperative, known as HGACBuy, for the purchase of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) equipment. Information regarding the contract may be found by contacting the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Brick, County of Ocean, via email at rwinemiller@brickfire.org, during regular business hours. Information on the Houston-Galveston Area Council cooperative, known as HGACBuy, can be found on its website at www.hgacbuy.org/program. The Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Brick, County of Ocean, anticipates awarding the contract through the Houston-Galveston Area Council cooperative, known as HGACBuy, at its regular monthly meeting on August 10, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at Herbertsville Fire Company No. 1, 601 Herbertsville Road, Brick, New Jersey. It is the intent of the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Brick, County of Ocean, to award the contract to Firefighter One, 34 Wilson Drive, Sparta, New Jersey 07871, pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the Houston-Galveston Area Council cooperative, known as HGACBuy, Request for Bids. The Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Brick, County of Ocean, is permitted to utilize a national cooperative purchasing agreement under the authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
