TOWNSHIP OF BRICK NOTICE TO BIDDERS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Brick, for the provision and erection of a steel cold storage building at Laurelton Fire Company No. 1, Station 23-2, 259 Van Zile Road, Brick, New Jersey, on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. prevailing time at the District Office located at 253 Brick Boulevard, Brick, New Jersey, at which time they will be opened and read by the Board Clerk or designated representative. Contract documents, specifications, and other information may be obtained by contacting the Law Office of Sendzik & Sendzik, P.C., 1808 Route 88, Brick, New Jersey, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., telephone number (732) 840-6464, or by requesting same at sendziklaw@comcast.net. A Pre-Bid Conference shall be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at Laurelton Fire Company No. 1, Station 23-2, 259 Van Zile Road, Brick, New Jersey. All bidders are strongly urged to attend this meeting. This shall be the only time Fire District representatives will meet prospective contractors. Bidders are expected to examine existing conditions at the project site that will bear on the proposed work. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Cold Storage Building" on the outside addressed to the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Brick. The bid must be delivered to the District Office located at 253 Brick Boulevard, Brick, New Jersey, at 12:00 p.m. on July 10, 2026. If mailed, all bids must be mailed by Certified Mail to the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Brick, 253 Brick Boulevard, Brick, New Jersey 08723, and received on or before the above set forth time and date. No bid will be considered unless in writing on the form furnished. Bids may not be faxed, transmitted over the telephone or emailed. The Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Brick, assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier, mail or delivery service causing the bid to be received untimely. All questions concerning this Notice to Bidders shall be addressed to Law Offices of Sendzik & Sendzik, P.C., via email at sendziklaw@comcast.net. Bidders (general contractors and subcontractors) must submit with the bid an "Ownership Disclosure Form" and a "Non-Collision Affidavit" on the forms included in the bid package. Bidders (general contractors and subcontractors) must submit proof with the bid of registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, by submitting a copy of bidder's Business Registration Certificate. In accordance with "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act", P.L. 1999, c.238, all bidders (general contractors and his subcontractors) must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor at the time of the submittal of the bid proposal. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1964, effective January 1, 1964. Bidders are required to comply with the Affirmative Action requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 and regulations promulgated thereunder. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after opening of proposals; all proposals being binding on all bidders for said sixty (60) day period. The Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 2, Township of Brick, reserves the right to reject any or all bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the Fire District. It is the purpose of the Notice to Bidders to summarize some of the provisions of the bid documents.
