TOWNSHIP OF HADDON PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that on the 7th day of May, 2026 at 7:30 PM, local time, a public hearing will be held before the Township of Haddon Planning/Zoning Board (the "Board") at the Haddon Township Municipal Building, 135 Haddon Avenue, 2nd Floor, Haddon Township, New Jersey, Camden County, at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. The Board will consider the application of Brotherly Bud Haddon Twp LLC (the "Applicant") seeking minor site plan approval with conditional use variance approval together with all other necessary variances and waivers to operate a Class 5 Cannabis Retail Sales Facility at 408 Crescent Boulevard (US 130), Haddon Township, New Jersey, Block 5.14, Lots 2, 3, and 4 (the "Property").
Applicant is seeking minor site plan approval to adaptively reuse the existing building and parking lot on the Property as a Class 5 Cannabis Retail Sales Facility. Proposed site improvements include paint for formalizing the parking area, addition of accessible parking signage, and parking stops to delineate spaces. The existing paved and curbed parking lot will remain in its existing condition, as will the driveways to Route 130 and Nicholson Road. Building improvements include façade renovation and addition of building-mounted lights. The Property currently holds a vacant auto repair shop with associated improvements.
Applicant is seeking conditional use variance relief for several pre-existing non-conforming conditions. Applicant is seeking relief from a) Section 142-37J(4)—Lot Width (91 feet currently exists whereas 100 feet is required); b) Section 142-37J(4)—Minimum Side Yard (0 feet currently exists whereas 20 feet is required); c) Section 142-39(A)(1)(b)—Parking Lot Landscaping Islands (No islands currently exist whereas 1 is required per 30 parking spaces); d) Section 142-39A(4)—Driveway Offset (0 feet from property line currently exists whereas 40 feet is required) and; e) 142-39A(4)—Driveway Offset (0 feet from intersection currently exists whereas 50 feet is required).
None of the aforementioned conditions will be created or altered by the application.
All interested parties shall be provided with the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing of the Board on May 7th, 2026, at 7:30 PM and shall be entitled to testify before the Board and/or question the Applicant. The Board may continue the application and you are advised to contact the Secretary of the Board at the Municipal Building in order to confirm the date and time of the hearing.
