NOTICE OF HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
In compliance with the pertinent provisions of the Hopewell Township Zoning and Land Development Ordinance and the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Act, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., notice is hereby given that a written application has been filed by the undersigned with the Hopewell Township Land Use Board for preliminary and final major subdivision approval with bulk variances pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c) from the minimum lot size and/or minimum lot frontage requirements as applied only to lots proposed for stormwater management basins, together with any and all other variances, waivers or other relief the Board may reasonably require in the exercise of its discretion and without further public notice, in order to permit the Applicant to establish a new 49-unit residential community to be known as Hopewell Meadows to be located generally along Sewall Road on the properties designated as Block 33, Lots 1, 2 and 3 on the Township of Hopewell Tax Map. Specifically, the Applicant proposes to establish, construct and maintain 49 single family homes on the above-referenced 65+/- acre site, together with 7 lots for stormwater management and other related and associated improvements, including but not necessarily limited to lighting, landscaping and stormwater management infrastructure. As part of the described application, Applicant also proposes to create an approximately 2.34+/- acre lot for the preservation of the portion of the site known locally as Indian Hill.
Public hearing on the above-mentioned application has been scheduled for May 20, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. located at the Hopewell Township Municipal Building, 590 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton, New Jersey, at which time and place any interested party (as defined in N.J.S.A. 40:55D-4) will have an opportunity to be heard.
All documents relating to this application may be inspected by the public during regular business hours in the office of the Secretary to the Land Use Board at the Hopewell Township Municipal Building, 590 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton, New Jersey by contacting the Board Secretary at (856)-455-1230 x-118, or by requesting a copy of same by directing an email to the Land Use Board Secretary at clerk@hopewelltwpnj.com. Please take further notice that the Board may, in its discretion, adjourn, postpone or continue said hearing from time to time and you are hereby notified that you should make diligent inquiry of the Land Use Board Secretary's office concerning such adjournments, postponements or continuations.
