TOWNSHIP OF HOWELL FIRE DISTRICT NO. 3 NOTICE

TOWNSHIP OF HOWELL FIRE DISTRICT NO. 3 NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3, Township of Howell, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, shall ask the legal voters of said Fire District on Saturday, February 21, 2026, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., or longer if necessary, to approve or disapprove the proposed 2026 Budget. Said voting shall take place at Southard Fire Department No. 1, 4611 Route 9, Howell, New Jersey. Fire District No. 3 is comprised of Election Districts 3, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 22, 23, 25 and 29 within the Township of Howell. The legal voters of said Fire District shall also be asked to elect one (1) Commissioner for a three (3) year term to serve on the Board of Fire Commissioners of Fire District No. 3. The closing date for the filing of a Petition of Nomination with the Clerk of the Board relative to being a candidate for said three (3) year term shall be on Friday, January 23, 2026.
