ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A Public Hearing of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Medford, County of Burlington and the State of New Jersey will be held on July 15, 2026 commencing at 6:30 p.m. at the Police Administration Building, located at 91 Union Street; for
Variances & Waivers
1.Variances are sought / required from the following standards per the RGD-2 District Standards (See §404):
100 feet minimum rear yard setback required, approximately 51 feet exists, and 28 feet proposed. 15% maximum lot coverage permitted, 26.8% exists, and 28.9% proposed.
2. The required wetlands buffer per 611 is 300 feet because the site is located within the RGD-2 District and has private well and septic. However, as noted the dwelling was constructed prior to 1947. A waiver is requested to permit a 28 feet setback, where 51 feet exists and all other variances or relief so as to permit the construction of a soake pool located at 21 Pocahontas Trail, Medford NJ 08055, which is designated as Block 5602; on the Tax Map of the Township of Medford.
This matter is known as file number ZVE-1279 in the Zoning Board of Adjustment records. Interested parties may inspect documents relative to this application at the Planning & Zoning Office in the Medford Town Hall Building, located at 49 Union Street, Medford, New Jersey during normal business hours or as posted on the Medford Township website.
Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Zoning Board.
