NOTICE OF HEARING ON APPLICATION
SUBJECT PROPERTY: BLOCK 18, LOT 21 – 23 GRANADA DRIVE
MORRIS PLAINS (PARSIPPANY), NEW JERSEY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
That, Gopinath Bharathi and Archana Lakhotia (the "Applicant"), have filed an application with the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills (the "Board") for d-1 use variance relief to legalize the existing mother/daughter configuration of the dwelling located at the property known as 23 Granada Drive and designated as Lot 21, Block 18 on the Township Tax Map, along with the following c-2 variance relief to permit the nonconforming as to minimum accessory structure side yard setback for the existing dog house and dog run, as a 2-family residence, along with any additional deviations, variances, waivers, exceptions, interpretations, de minimis exceptions to RSIS, modifications of conditions of prior approvals, continuation of any preexisting nonconforming conditions and other approvals reflected on the filed plans (as same may be further amended or revised from time to time without further notice) and/or relief that may be determined to be necessary during the review and processing of the application and/or based upon an analysis of the plans and testimony at the PUBLIC HEARING on the Application as required by the Zoning Board. The property is situated in the Residential (R-1) District and the Applicant is the Owner of record.
A public hearing has been set down for October 8, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., in the Township Hall Main Meeting Room, located at 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, New Jersey, and when the case is called you may appear either in person, or by agent or attorney, and present any objections which you may have to the granting of the relief sought in the petition.
The following described maps and papers are on file in the office of the Planning/Zoning Department (973-263-4286) at 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, N.J., and are available for inspection by the public during normal business hours of 9:00am to 5:00 pm or as otherwise posted: (i) Survey prepared by Morgan Engineering & Surveying dated 6/18/24; and (v) Application with exhibits and addendum attached thereto.
Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Board. Continuation of said hearing, if necessary, will be scheduled at that time. If not continued, a vote may be taken at said meeting. This notice is being published upon the Order of the Planning Board.
