TOWNSHIP OF ROCHELLE PARK BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SUBMISSION OF A 2026 BERGEN COUNTY TRUST FUND GRANT APPLICATION Application of the Township of Rochelle Park for Bergen County Trust Fund Municipal Program for Park Development Grant Funding for 2026. TAKE NOTICE: that the Township of Rochelle Park will hold a Public Hearing on submitting the following application to the 2026 funding round of the Bergen County Trust Fund Municipal Program for Park Development: Carlock Field, Block: 75, Lot:35; Thiem Ave. and Berdan St.Carlock Field is the Township of Rochelle Park's premier recreational site, offering a suite of opportunities and public events to the benefit of its residents. To build upon previous initiatives, the Township now seeks Bergen County Open Space funding for several quality-of-life improvements to the park, including ADA compliant playground upgrades, new field lighting, exterior field house renovations, secured fencing, and immediate repairs to the park's retaining wall. The anticipated cost of this project is $400,000, and the Township seeks $200,000 to initiate these renovations.
