TOWNSHIP OF VERONA ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: That the undersigned has applied to the Zoning Board of Adjustment in the Township of Verona (the "Board") for amended final major site plan approval and associated use variance relief in order to further amend a final major site plan approval granted by the Board in order to convert approximately 3,581 square feet of office space in an existing one-story commercial building to a commercial recreation use at property commonly known as 3 Claridge Drive and otherwise known as Block 103, Lot 3 on the Tax Maps of the Township of Verona. The subject property is located in a A-3 Zone and the commercial recreation use proposed is not permitted in the zone. In order to renovate and use the subject property as proposed the Applicant is requesting amended final major site plan approval in addition to a use variance to permit the commercial recreation use which is not permitted in the A-3 Zone pursuant to Verona Zoning Ordinance Section 150-17.10 in addition to any and all other variances the Board deems necessary for the approval of this application. This application is listed on the Clerk's calendar, and a public hearing has been set for Thursday October 9, 2025 at 7:30 pm at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, New Jersey, at which time you may appear either in person, by agent, or by attorney, and present any comments, questions, or objections which you may have to the granting of this application. Copies of all documents related to this application are available for public inspection at least 10 days before the hearing in the Office of the Zoning Board, Verona Municipal Building, 600 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, New Jersey during normal business hours.
