NOTICE OF HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
In compliance with the pertinent provisions of the Township of Woodland Zoning and Land Development Ordinance, and the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Act, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., notice is hereby given that a written application has been filed by the undersigned Applicant with the Township of Woodland Land Use Board for the renewal of an existing mining license and minor site plan approval to permit continued resource extraction of sand and gravel within an active mining area of approximately 373 acres, together with any and all variances, waivers or related relief the Board may reasonably require in the exercise of its discretion, and without further public notice, at the property shown as Lot 4.01 in Block 6401 on the Official Tax Map of the Township of Woodland. The subject property encompasses approximately 1,400 acres, commonly known as the Woodmansie Mine, of which 373 acres is currently mined. The property is located in the M-C (Mining-Conservation) Zone and the P-P (Pinelands Preservation) Zone. No expansion of the active mining area is proposed as part of this application.
Public hearing on the above-mentioned application for renewal of a mining license and minor site plan approval has been scheduled for July 21, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. at the Woodland Township Municipal Building, 3943 Main Street, Chatsworth, New Jersey 08019, at which time and place any interested party (as defined in N.J.S.A. 40:55D-4) will have an opportunity to be heard.
All documents relating to this application may be inspected by the public during regular business hours in the office of the Land Use Board located at the Woodland Township Municipal Building, 3943 Main Street, Chatsworth, New Jersey 08019. Please take further notice that the Board may, in its discretion, adjourn, postpone or continue said hearing from time to time and you are hereby notified that you should make diligent inquiry of the Land Use Board's office concerning such adjournments, postponements or continuations.
