NOTICE
TO: Property Owners
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Applicant, Temple Shalom of Aberdeen Inc has filed a
Minor Subdivision Application to the Planning Board of the Township of Aberdeen seeking
approval relative to the premises located at 5 Ayrmont Ln, Aberdeen NJ 07747, also known
as Block 53, Lots 16 & 17 on the Official Tax Maps. There presently exists a 1-story brick
building and related onsite parking lot on the subject property. Specifically, the Applicant
requests Minor Subdivision Approval to allow for the subdivision of existing Block 53, Lots
16 & 17, thereby creating ( i ) Block 53, Proposed Lot 16.01, an approximate 190,479
square foot lot; and ( ii ) Block 53, Proposed Lot 16.02, an approximate 13,510 square foot
lot. The Applicant proposes to continue the building's use. The Property is located in the
Township's PC Zone.
The Applicant does not believe that this approval requires any variance relief and will
request any variance, waiver, or exceptions as may be deemed necessary by the Planning
Board in order to secure approval of all plans, plats, and applications submitted for
approval.
This matter is now on the Secretary's calendar and a Public Hearing has been ordered for
February 18, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. prevailing time, in the Aberdeen Township Municipal
Building, at which time you may appear either in person or by agent or attorney and
present any objection which you may have to the granting of this Application.
The Application, maps and plans are on file at the Department of Planning/Zoning and
Development, One Aberdeen Sq, Aberdeen NJ, and are available for inspection weekdays
from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Please note that this Application may be modified and additional relief may be requested
that is not provided for in this notice. Moreover, this matter may be carried to a date in the
future without further notice.
This notice is served upon you by order of the Aberdeen Township Planning Board.
