
The EPA Invites Public Comment on the Proposed Cleanup Plan
for the Former Kil-Tone Company Superfund Site in Vineland, New Jersey
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is asking for input from the public on its proposed cleanup plan to address lead and arsenic contamination in the areas surrounding the Tarkiln Branch that regularly floods at the Former Kil-Tone Superfund site in Vineland, New Jersey.
EPA is taking comments from the public on the proposed cleanup plan from June 10, 2026, to July 13, 2026. EPA will consider comments submitted during the comment period before making a final decision. Community members and stakeholders are encouraged to review the plan, attend the public meeting, and comment on the proposed cleanup options. EPA will hold an in-person public meeting to discuss the proposed cleanup plan on June 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gloria M Sabater Elementary School, 301 Southeast Boulevard, Vineland, New Jersey 08360.
