The North East Community Marina Authority (NECMA) seeks proposals for the furnishing, delivery, and installation of replacement courtesy docks at the North East Community Marina located on Lake Erie in North East, Pennsylvania. Vendors should arrange a site visit by Deadline July 25th, 2026.
The proposed dock system shall:
Be a commercial-grade floating dock system.
Be able to or have plumbing and electrical raceways
Support electric and water pedestals
Be designed for use in Lake Erie and similar northern freshwater environments.
Be capable of withstanding freeze-thaw cycles, ice conditions, wave action, and fluctuating water levels.
Be capable of remaining in the water year-round or provide documentation supporting winter removal requirements.
Include corrosion-resistant framing, flotation, hardware, and connection systems.
Provide stable, ADA-supportive public access.
Include non-slip, weather proof decking surfaces.
Include rub rails, corner protection, and necessary connection hardware.
Be compatible with existing marina infrastructure and piling configurations.
Include Manufacture Warrenty Info.
Vendors shall describe their ability to provide matching dock systems for future phased marina-wide dock replacement projects. NECMA intends to pursue future grant opportunities to replace additional marina docks using a uniform dock system. Docks must be manufactured in USA.
