Town of Boonsboro Notice of Public Hearing
The Mayor & Council of the Town of Boonsboro will hold a public hearing in consideration of the proposed Ordinance 2026-02: An Ordinance to Regulate the Operation of Electric Bicycles, Electric Scooters, and Electric Personal Mobility Devices on Public Walking Paths, Footpaths, and Pedestrian Zones within the Town of Boonsboro, Maryland.
The hearing will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 7:00pm in the Meeting Chambers located at 19 North Main Street, Boonsboro, MD 21713. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the meeting and sign up to speak.
The Ordinance seeks to address the public safety concerns associated with high-powered electric mobility devices by implementing restrictions and enforcement action by the Boonsboro Police Dept.
