Town of Farmington Planning Board Public Hearing Notice
The Farmington Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 6:30PM in the Municipal Offices Building, 356 Main Street, to hold a Public Hearing and Possible Vote on a Site Plan Application for Cardinal Landfill Solar, LLC, Tax Map R19, Lot(s) 12 & 12-1. The proposal is for a 3-megawatt AC ground-mounted photovoltaic solar array across two parcels making up the former Cardinal Landfill property. The project is located on Cocheco Road and in the Mixed-Use East District.
The Farmington Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 6:30PM in the Municipal Offices Building, 356 Main Street, to hold a Public Hearing and Possible Vote on a Special Use Permit for Cardinal Landfill Solar, LLC, Tax Map R19, Lot(s) 12 & 12-1. A Special Use Permit will be required for impacts within the 50' wetland buffer for the construction of ground mounted photovoltaic solar panels. There are no proposed direct wetland impacts. The project is located on Cocheco Road and in the Mixed-Use East District.
