Town of Hamilton Notice of Public Hearing NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law, Town Law and General Municipal Law, there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Hamilton, New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on September 11, 2025, a proposed Ordinance repealing a 1958 Town Ordinance, allowing for the conduct of games of bingo, subject to certain restrictions set forth therein. Said Ordinance, if adopted, would make the conduct of games of bingo illegal within the Town of Hamilton, exclusive of the Villages of Hamilton and Earlville. The full text of said proposed Ordinance is on file at the Town Clerk's Office at the Town Offices located at 38 Milford Street in the Town of Hamilton for inspection by all interested persons, and available online at www.townofhamiltonny.gov. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on September 11, 2025, the Town Board declared itself to be lead agency and determined that this proposed Ordinance is an Unlisted Action and determined that the action will have no significant adverse impact on the environment for purposes of the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). NOTICE IF FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Ordinance at the Town Hall located at 38 Milford Street in the Town of Hamilton on October 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at which time all persons interested will be heard. The public may mail or electronically submit comments on the proposed Ordinance to the Town Clerk at townclerk@townofhamiltonny.gov by noon on October 9, 2025. SUZANNE K.
