Town of North Brookfield Public Hearing - March 24, 2026 6:00 PM North Brookfield Police Station 55 School Street, North Brookfield FY 2026 Town of North Brookfield CDBG Application The North Brookfield Board of Selectmen will conduct a Public Hearing on March 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the North Brookfield Police Station, 55 School Street in North Brookfield. The public is encouraged to attend this hearing to discuss a FY 2026 application by the Town of North Brookfield to the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing & Livable Communities for up to $950,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. In the event the meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, the hearing will take place during the next rescheduled meeting of the Board of Selectmen. The town seeks public input on potential grant-funded projects. A potential project under consideration for the application includes the design and phased construction of surface and subsurface infrastructure improvements along South Common Street and Saint Claire Avenue. Additional projects may be discussed and may be included in the grant application. All persons and organizations with questions or comments regarding the grant application will have an opportunity to be heard. If awarded, the Town of North Brookfield will be responsible for administration of the grant program, with assistance from the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC).
