Town of Russia Tax Collector Notice TAKE NOTICE that I, LuAnn Jenkins, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Russia, County of Herkimer, and the State of New York, have duly received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Russia for the Year of 2026 and that I will attend at the Town Municipal Building, 8916 N. Main Street, Poland, in the said Town of Russia, in January - Thursdays 8:00am- 3:00pm, Fridays 8:00am - 3pm, Saturdays from 8:00am - 12pm, Saturday January 31st 8am-2pm, In February – Fridays 8:00am - 2pm. In March – Fridays 8:00am - 2pm. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid on or before January 31st, 2026, without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1%, if paid on or before February 28th, 2026, and an additional 1% for each additional month or fraction thereof thereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer pursuant to law. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Russia will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Herkimer on the 1st day of April 2026.
