Town of Wayland NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law) Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Wayland, Steuben County has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the year 2026 and that a copy will be filed May 1, 2026 with the Wayland Town Clerk, 110 N Main Street, Wayland, NY where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fourth Tuesday in May. The Tentative Roll is also available on the Steuben County website: https://www.steubencountyny.gov/347/assessment-rolls The Assessor, or designee, will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on Tuesday, May 12th between the hours of 10am and 2pm; and on Thursday, May 14th between the hours of 10am and 2pm; and on Tuesday, May 19th between the hours of 10am and Noon and 6pm and 8pm; and on Saturday, May 23rd between the hours of 10am and 2pm. The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Wednesday, June 3rd between the hours of 4pm and 8pm at the Wayland Town Hall, 110 N Main Street, Wayland, NY to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the written application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved.
