PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., a public hearing will be held before the Union City Zoning Board at Union City High School, 2500 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, Union City, New Jersey, on the application of the undersigned seeking variance relief and any other approvals, waivers or variances deemed necessary by the Board.
The subject property is located at 408 22nd Street, also known as Block 124, Lot 22, and is situated within the R Low Density Residential Zone District.
The Applicant proposes to renovate and expand the existing two-family dwelling through the construction of a third story addition, interior renovations, façade improvements, and related site improvements, including the provision of one off street parking space.
In connection with the foregoing, the Applicant seeks bulk variance relief including, but not limited to, minimum side yard setback relief and off-street parking variance relief, together with any and all other variances, waivers, design exceptions and other relief that may be required upon review and hearing of the application.
All documents relating to this application are on file with the Office of the Secretary of the Union City Zoning Board, City Hall, 3715 Palisade Avenue, Union City, New Jersey 07087, and are available for public inspection during normal business hours between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Any interested party may appear at the hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Union City Zoning Board.
