LEGAL NOTICE
Electronic bids will be received by the Village Engineer via the email address stated below by 5:00 p.m. local time, on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 for furnishing all labor and materials for the 2026 Street Rehabilitation Project which will be assisted by the Ohio Public Works Commission; a construction project including the removal of asphalt pavement, installation of curb, drainage improvements, placing new asphalt pavement, application of pavement markings, and other related work.
Contract documents, bid sheets, specifications and plans can be obtained by emailing the Village Engineer, Chris Ertel, at ertelcm@gmail.com .
By submitting the bid, you are verifying the person submitting the bid is authorized to legally bind the company. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a bid bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code for the contract amount.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder shall submit a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Print the necessary pages from the electronic package for submission, including the Proposal Form, Bid Form, OPWC EEO and Affirmative Action and the Personal Property Affidavit documents. It is the intent and requirement of the Village that this project be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days of Notice to Proceed.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County and the Village of Mariemont, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations.
The Village Council of Mariemont, Ohio reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
